The last therapy day

Is it not always the people that have provided your care, day and night that make all the difference? Uriel, pictured on the left, is Dave's day nurse, and Ramon, on the right, has been his night nurse. These two amazing men, have made all the difference for him. They've shared common interests and their personal lives. They have made his therapy time more enjoyable by not only being truly quality individuals, that are caring and outstanding at what they do, but also in the little things like surprising him in therapies with 70's rock and roll music, Led Zeppelin and Rolling Stones.

Dave wanted a photo without masks and they were happy to oblige.

The kitchen says that David is their favorite patient because he cleans his plate. He also always asks for more.

I just spoke with Dave. He took a walk on the beach this morning, had his daily morning wheat grass shot, lemon juice shot and curcumin and was heading down for his last ultrasound. The Doctor will see him for his final review. They will remove the subclavian port after his last IV therapy today and Dave will be packed and ready for travel early in the morning. He feels good and is ready to get back into the swing of things.

The cold weather is going to be a shock. Hope he has some warm clothing. Glad he was surrounded by compassionate people. ❤️
